Electrolyte Workshop: Wellbeing Through Creativity
Sat 8 Jun 19
One in four people will be affected by ill mental health at some point in their lives. Sometimes negative feelings can take over and when they do it can be hard to manage. However, there is a lot of evidence to suggest that getting creative is a brilliant way to combat any unwanted feelings.
In this free, three-hour workshop members of the Electrolyte cast (winners of the Mental Health Fringe Award 2018) will help you to understand what it is that can bring on these feelings and work through different ways to express them in a relaxed, fun and safe way.
Championing community, creativity and togetherness as a way of managing your mental health we will work with a variety of art forms. We will mainly focus on music, poetry, drama and creative writing, although other forms of creativity are welcome and we will try to incorporate them into the workshop where possible.
