We're turning up the volume once again as Courtyard Live, our FREE outdoor music festival packed with incredible local talent, is back!

Grab a drink from the bar and enjoy the best live music from local bands and musicians on our outdoor stage every Friday & Saturday night from Fri 26 June – Sat 25 July.

Music starts at 7pm – let the good times roll!

Courtyard Live is part of Summer in the Courtyard, our outdoor festival of entertainment.

Courtyard Live takes place outdoors in our courtyard and will go ahead whatever the weather.

We're Northern so we don't shy away from a bit of rain! We encourage you to come with jackets so we can all enjoy the performances come rain or shine. 

When you arrive there will be security on entry with bag checks taking place.

Live music starts from 7pm. There is no need to book, just come on down and join us.

Table's are first-come, first-served, there's plenty of standing room too!

Sat 27 June  Big Wave A virtuosic duo featuring guitarist Martin Chung and percussionist Marc Layton-Bennett. Latin, jazz and world music styles ladened with lush harmony, hypnotic beats and layers of ethereal fx.
Fri 3 July Joey's Knuckle Joey’s Knuckle are a four-piece alternative indie band from Huddersfield, known for their raw energy, tangled guitar lines, and emotionally honest lyrics. They have carved out a sound that’s loud, urgent, and unfiltered.
Sat 4 July The Big Easy (duo) The Big Easy are an energetic swing band from Leeds, stripping things back for their Courtyard appearance they will be performing as a duo consisting of vocals, trumpet and guitar. Their dynamic and virtuosic performances include a varied repertoire of the best swing from throughout the 20th century.
Fri 10 July Hannah Rowe

Hannah Rowe's emotional range transcends generations; the young singer writes about experiences and shifts in life, offering all listeners a sense of reflection within her rich, authentic, jazz-infused sound. Hannah is backed by a group of highly accomplished musicians Luke Harrison on bass, Owen Moriarty on keys and Charlie Tanner on drums.

Sat 11 July Long Island Boasting powerhouse vocals, catchy hooks, and feel-good grooves, Leeds indie pop-rock outfit Long Island are making waves in the strong northern scene with their energetic live shows.
Fri 17 July The Sweet Trees The Sweet Trees are a West Yorkshire acoustic collective featuring the honeyed vocal blend of Lizzey Ross, Katie Colbrook and Lloyd Degler, cultivating their own sensitive brand of alt folk rock whilst welcoming some more well-known tunes into their boughs.
Sat 18 July Kevlar Boombox Kevlar Boombox are a soul/funk collective playing a range of classic and contemporary grooves from an eclectic range of prolific artists. Made up of 5 talented musicians based in Yorkshire, Kevlar Boombox brings a high energy live show filled with good times songs to dance the night away to.
Fri 24 July Leo Brazil Leo Brazil is an animal obsessed songwriter and producer from Huddersfield UK know for his meaningful lyrics, colourful DIY multi-genre covering folk, blues, singer-songwriter with a woozy psychedelic edge.
Fri 24 July Martyn Roper Martyn Roper plays a seated one-man band style in the tradition of Hasil Adkins and Joe Hill Lewis. With a rusty 1935 resonator guitar and foot drums it’s a boogie blues sound that could wake the dead.
