Getting here by car
When arriving into Huddersfield, follow the road signs for the theatre from the ring road.
Due to maintenance work, our recommended parking at Market Hall Car Park is currently closed.
For day time car parking, alternative car parks include Cambridge Road. The council has now reduced all-day parking here from £4 to £3 during Market Hall Car Park’s closure.
For evening and night car parking, car parks include Springwood and Civic Centre 1. Arrangements have also been made for the Bus Station Car Park to stay open to midnight.

Getting here by public transport
The theatre is a 10 minute walk from Huddersfield Train Station.
It is a 10 minute walk from the Huddersfield Bus Station to the Lawrence Batley Theatre. You can find the walking route here.
Alternatively, the Free Town Bus stops outside the LBT on Queen Street and runs until 3pm Monday – Friday and 2:50pm on Saturday.
Getting here by bike
Bike racks are situated inside our courtyard to the right of the main entrance. There are two stands available. Please note the courtyard gates will close in an evening when the building closes.
