Lawrence Batley Theatre is run by Kirklees Theatre Trust and operated as a registered charity (No. 510693)

More than 50 staff, over 60 volunteers and 20+ freelance artists are employed by the charity to carry out its work. The staff are managed by a Senior Leadership Team. There is a Board of Trustees who work on a voluntary basis to govern the work of the team and the charity. A number of Community Ambassadors who are local artists work as advisors to the Senior Leadership Team specifically around delivering work that reflects the community.
