The Handlebards: Romeo & Juliet
Sun 9 Aug 20
What do you get when three HandleBards are cooped up in a flat for three months during lockdown? An unhinged, laugh out loud and bonkers version of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet is what! Although not a usual HandleBards outing, you can expect their irreverent, charming and hilarious style to come bursting into the Courtyard in all its glory. Forget the tears and tragedy and get ready for some socially-distanced, live and wired Shakespeare as you’ve never seen it before.
This in an outdoor production – please feel free to bring your own chairs, blankets and cushions, however we will have our own chairs available for you to use.
How it will work
One ticket admits one person to a performance of Romeo & Juliet. Tickets purchased in the same transaction will be sat together – for example, if you purchase four tickets you will be allocated a pitch with enough room for four people to sit together. As per Government advice, please avoid interaction with individuals or groups from other households.
