Jyotsna Srikanth & The Bollywood Brass Band

There are few more joyous, more thundering noises to be heard than the sound of the Bollywood Brass Band in full flight.

As their name suggests, they take the hit songs from decades of Bollywood movies and give them a re-rub through the medium of dhol drums and multiple brass instruments. As evergreen as they and their reputation are, every time they strike up the band, the magic pours forth, as fresh and funky as the first day they got together – a veritable juggernaut of sound.

This time around, they’re adding an extra melodic dimension through the recruitment of virtuoso violinist Jyotsna Srikanth – plus video projections from North and South Indian films!
