In Motion
Our In Motion series is known for bringing contemporary dance and circus to the region. We work hard to find productions which appeal to those who love dance and those experiencing contemporary circus for the first time.
Home Programme
The Lawrence Batley Theatre was founded to provide Huddersfield with a dedicated venue for live performance, and work made by local groups right here has always been at the heart of our programme.
Laughs
From Chris Ramsey to Jason Byrne, we strive to bring the best up and coming comedians to Huddersfield. Our monthly Comedy Cellars are the perfect way to experience stand-up in all its spontaneous, electrifying glory.
Sounds
Music is the lifeblood of our region and our programme wouldn’t be complete without Sounds. This eclectic selection of events shows of the breath of Northern talent alongside international acts.
Imagine
Our Imagine strands provides the first steps into live performance for children under ten and their families.
Spotlight
The LBT provides the chance to perform on a professional stage. Tens of thousands of children and young people have enjoyed this opportunity which continues through our Spotlight programme.
