Will I have to rehearse?
Once the production has been cast we will have a readthrough on Zoom with the entire company. All participants will be sent their parts & a script in advance to rehearse in their own time and some (mostly leading roles) will be asked to attend one-on-one zoom rehearsals prior to recording.
Are there any non-speaking roles?
The production will be presented as an audio play with animation, so in order to take part we will need all participants to speak. However there are a selection of smaller roles that may suit you!
Will I need to come to the Lawrence Batley Theatre?
Yes, all recording will take place at the Lawrence Batley Theatre, Huddersfield.
How are you making it safe to visit Lawrence Batley Theatre?
We will be making sure our recording schedule allows all participants to remain socially distanced throughout the sessions – even for those recording together. We will be working with an experienced sound team who will ensure all equipment is kept clean throughout recording.
