The &Piano Music Festival is a celebration of collaborative music making, showcasing amazing music and top musicians from across the North of England.
A new addition to &Piano this year is our Performance Pub - an open-call opportunity to give musicians of any ability, experience & background to perform as part of our festival, and we’re delighted to be hosting this at the Lawrence Batley Theatre.
Classical singers and instrumentalists of all abilities, backgrounds and experiences from around the area are invited to perform around 6-8 minutes of music each, with piano accompaniment.
In a relaxed ‘pub’ style, the bar will be open so you can enjoy a drink while you listen!

There is no audition, or minimum ability requirement - this is a welcoming, friendly and supportive environment and a great chance to perform some solo repertoire. (An opportunity for a quick rehearsal will be available from 6:30pm).
