30th Birthday

We're celebrating thirty years at the heart of the Huddersfield community!

As we celebrate our thirtieth year, we need to raise £30,000 to keep on making an impact in Huddersfield - and we need your help!

Each year we host over 450 performances, workshops and events that are enjoyed by more than 70,000 people both in our theatre and within the community. Community is at the heart of what we do. We believe local people absolutely deserve to have to best on our doorstep.

As a registered charity (No. 510693) we rely on the generous support of our community to ensure that we can continue to provide services which engage local people in the arts for another 30 years to come.

So please book tickets for a show, treat yourself to an ice cream or a pint at our bar and consider making a donation to your local theatre today. Help us to keep making an impact.

Standing strong at the centre of Huddersfield, we've managed to weather all the economic storms we’ve seen over the last three decades. In 2016, we began producing our own pantomimes, with a commitment to sharing Northern voices on our stage. During 2020, we produced online theatre in partnership with other regional theatres at the time, producing incredible shows featuring Stephen Fry, Joanna Lumley and Russel Tovey.

To ensure the theatre stays resilient, we're aiming to raise £30,000 in donations during our thirtieth year.
