Lawrence Batley Theatre is a middle-scale theatre based in the centre of Huddersfield. Housed in a Grade II* listed building which was once the largest Wesleyan mission in the country.
Within the building there are three theatre spaces. Our Main House seating 459 people and Cellar Theatre seating up to 120 and the summer outdoor Courtyard capacity up to 250.
We also have 4 more meeting rooms available, The Attic seating up to 60, Large Meeting Room seating up to 40, TEN Queen Street seating up to 20 and Small Meeting Room seating 8. Our theatre bar can also be hired for special events accompanied with upstairs gallery.
