One wild and windy night the Gruffalo’s Child ignores her father’s warnings about the Big Bad Mouse and tiptoes out into the deep dark wood. She follows snowy tracks and encounters mysterious creatures – but the Big Bad Mouse doesn’t really exist... does he?

Relaxed Performance
Relaxed Performance and Touch Tour
Our relaxed performances are designed to create an enjoyable and relaxed atmosphere for anyone who would benefit from a more laid-back experience at the theatre.
During the show subtle changes are made to the sound and lighting effects and the auditorium lights remain on.
We expect more noise than usual from the audience during a relaxed performance so do not worry about being quiet.
Audience members are also free to leave the auditorium at any point during the show if they need to take a break from the action.
Join us for a Touch Tour on Wed 31 January at 12pm as part of The Gruffalo's Child relaxed performance. In the Touch Tour, you will be led on stage to familiarise yourself with specific props and elements of the set. The Touch Tour is free but must be booked in advance. The 12pm Touch Tour is now full.
