Having moved back in with her parents in suburban North West London after her divorce, Larki is facing friends, family, aunties, ‘besties’, and the epic decision between jalebi or gulaab jamun.
She’s searching for something, she just hasn't quite figured out what yet.
With an all-female cast, Saher Shah’s debut play looks at the changing relationships between women, complexities of emotional crises, British South Asian culture, the stigma of divorce and everyyyyyones opinion on it all.
Sometimes funny, sometimes dramatic, Vitamin D is an exploration of what it means to be a “happy woman” in the face of your own, and others judgements.
Vitamin D is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
After the show there will be a Q&A session with the cast and director in our gallery. The gallery is above the bar, up the spiral staircase, or you can access it via the lift next to Box Office.
