Lawrence Batley Theatre is the home of live performance in Huddersfield and for Kirklees. We are committed to discovering and developing the best talent from across the sector. We work with people from all backgrounds and with all levels of experience and we’re especially keen to hear from creative people who feel they are under-represented in UK theatre.

Young Company Volunteers
We couldn't do what we do without our amazing team of passionate and dedicated volunteers, and we're always on the look out for more fantastic people to join us! Volunteering at the Lawrence Batley Theatre not only helps our theatre to thrive, but is a great way to meet new people, develop new skills, gain experience and become part of our theatre community.
As our Young Company continues to grow, we are looking for a variety of inspiring individuals to support our young people in their weekly classes.
In these voluntary positions, you will be a role model for our young people, supporting the class tutor and assistant with the smooth running of sessions. We require that you would be able to commit to a full term for at least one class. There would also be the opportunity to progress from this role to an assistant role.
