We are delighted that members of our Young Company have been chosen for a second time to be part of Animal Care Club for Milkshake! on Channel 5.
The show features a pair of young people in each episode, working as a team to look after animals of all shapes and sizes! The children are involved at every opportunity in the animals care giving them a unique and enriching experience both on and off screen.
This exciting opportunity is a testament to the talent, dedication, and enthusiasm of our Young Company members – and we couldn’t be prouder to see them gaining professional acting experience.
Our Creative Associate & Young Company Tutor Keisha Hamilton said "We’re so excited and supportive of this fun and educational opportunity for our young people, as it will help to develop and increase their confidence which I’m sure we will see upon return to their drama sessions. They’ve been so excited to share the news and we can’t wait to see them in action.”

Whether they’re taking their first steps on stage or exploring screen acting, our programme provides a strong foundation for the next generation of performers.

Interested in joining Young Company?
Do you have an aspiring performer in the family? Or know a creative young person who’s interested in learning new skills and looking to build their confidence? Our Young Company offers a home to creative young people aged 6-16. Our classes are relaxed and welcoming, giving young people an all round creative experience. Through drama games, storytelling, and performance, young people will gain theatre skills while also building confidence, teamwork, and key communication skills.
On Fri 20 February, we’ll be holding free Young Company taster sessions for young people to come along and give it a go!
The taster sessions will be a fun hour-long introduction to what being a part of our Young Company is like. The sessions, run by our incredible Young Company leaders, will involve jumping into some of the exercises and activities that normally happen in our classes.
