We want to say a big thank you to everyone who supported our Christmas Heroes appeal in 2023!

Once again, our annual appeal returned to raise money to bring the magic of panto to local children and their families. We’re excited to share that a record 487 people gave the gift of theatre raising a HUGE £12,284 - making the appeal the biggest yet!

Because of the generous support from so many of you, we were able to work with 19 local groups and charities to invite so many children and families to experience the joy of our winter 2023 pantomime, Cinderella

"We can’t tell you how much the children and young people LOVED the panto this year – They all think it was the best yet!! Thank you again for the tickets"

Barnardo's Young Carers

"Our families and young people absolutely loved the show, for several it was their first time seeing a panto and visiting the theatre. We all had a fantastic time."

The Brunswick Centre

"Thank you for your amazing gift for our children free tickets, for the most wonderful pantomime, and the most delicious ice cream in the world. You gave them real Christmas miracles."

Natalia Mirkun, leader of the Ukrainian/British Friendship Group

To find out more about what a trip to the panto means to children and their families in our community, who otherwise may not be able to visit us, read our blog from Natalia Mirkun, the leader of the Ukrainian British Friendship Group, about the group’s first trip to the panto.

Christmas Heroes is a year round appeal, and this year we are raising money to allow us to bring even more children and families to see our 2024 winter pantomime, Dick Whittington!
