Step into the wonderfully ridiculous world of clowning in this energetic, creative workshop for young performers aged 9 to 16!
From classic circus clowns to silent movie comedy and modern physical theatre, participants will explore the fascinating history of clowning and discover how clowns have made audiences laugh for generations. Through games, improvisation and performance activities, young people will develop their own unique comic style and create an original comedy performance to share.
Perfect for curious performers, complete beginners and anyone who loves to make people laugh.
Happening around our theatre from 9am - 3.15pm. Young people are required to bring a packed lunch.
