Spoken Word and Talks

Attic Stories

Attic Stories is a celebration of community and creativity in the heart of Huddersfield.

Attic Stories is the Lawrence Batley Theatre’s monthly night of stories and poetry. Hosted by award-winning poet Rose Condo,

Each month we feature a special guest alongside a brilliant line-up of emerging and established open mic folks.

For over 10 years, our acclaimed guest performers have visited from across the UK and beyond. Plus we have welcomed dozens of poets, musicians and storytellers on our open mic.

Whether you have work to share or just want to come along to listen, we would love to have you join us.

Attic Stories is Pay As You Feel, and all money collected goes to the guest performer.
