Ten years ago this month, Rose took over the hosting reins of the Lawrence Batley Theatre’s monthly poetry night. To celebrate, Rose will hand the hosting reins to acclaimed Salford poet Kieren King this month so that she can be the feature guest! Rose will read work from her newest poetry collection, How to Find Where You Belong and maybe even do a cheeky bit of writing with the audience! Kieren will run the open mic - come along and sign up on the night!

Back with her hosting hat on, Rose welcomes poets Aqeel Parvez and Keith Fenton as June’s guests. The two recently launched their podcast Poets Talking Bollocks and have already compiled a catalogue of great guests. To help Lawrence Batley Theatre celebrate its 30 amazing years, we’ll also run a competition this month for a poem about Lawrence Batley Theatre. The winner will be announced on the night with prize to be confirmed.
