Wed 28 May - Our guest this month will be Sarah L Dixon who lives in Linthwaite with her son Frank. Sarah loves the surprise of a heron, a deer or a sparrowhawk on her walks through the valley. Her most recent book, A Bit Like Falling In Love about life as a 90s indie fan is out now. She loves real ale and logic puzzles.
Wed 25 June - BBC Slam Champion Jess Green is a performance poet and script writer for theatre, TV and podcasts. She's performed at Glastonbury, Latitude and BBC 6 Music festival. Her solo shows, Burning Books and A Self Help Guide To Being In Love With Jeremy Corbyn received 5 stars at the Edinburgh Fringe and on their national tours.
Wed 23 July - This month we will joined by Sean Fitton (aka Seany Minstrel), a writer, artist, musician and multi platform performer from Radcliffe, north Manchester, who has recently completed a performance-based PhD about Queer self-identity, and self-published a first poetry collection, Multiplastic.
Wed 27 August - Simone Yasmin is a writer and spoken word artist born and based in Leeds. Both her written and vocal work raise awareness for issues many choose to ignore to sit in comfort. Simone brings that discomfort into the centre of the room, pulling no wool over eyes with her blunt and realistic words.
