Young Chorus

We are looking for enthusiastic young performers to make up two teams of six Young Chorus members for our 2025 professional winter pantomime, Beauty and the Beast.
Our Young Chorus will perform in several dance numbers and will be involved as an ensemble in larger group scenes. The Young Chorus will also be encouraged to sing during several of the songs, so we are looking for strong all-round performers.
This exciting opportunity is for young people who are currently of Secondary School age (aged 12-16).
Applications to audition for our Young Chorus are now open!
Please fill in the following form to apply for an audition slot: Application Form.
The deadline to apply is midday, Mon 23 June.
We will be in touch w/c 23rd June with your audition slot.

If selected, we will send links with some of the best options. All other costumes and props required for the performances will be provided.
COMMITMENT
Although the pantomime is a great experience for the Young Chorus it is an unpaid role and a huge commitment at a busy family time. Please understand that once you are chosen you are committing to a professional agreement between yourself and Lawrence Batley Theatre. Unfortunately, we will not be in a position to swap people around if you have other plans or commitments. Please keep this in mind before applying to be part of the team.
