This Halloween we are ready to entertain you with plenty to do, for families and adults looking for a bit of a scare.

Halloween is our favourite time of year at Lawrence Batley Theatre, and we take it frightfully seriously here. If we didn’t, we’d be in trouble with our resident ghost Timothy Bentley. He’s a friendly fellow though, only opening and closing a few doors to let us know he’s there while we’re locking up late at night.

In Shock Horror (Sun 30 Oct) Herbert is a horror obsessive, misfit filmmaker, who gets his kicks from scaring viewers. But his last act has awoken a nightmare; now he’s the one being haunted. This brand new play fuses film with live action to create a fun thrilling show for you.

Ever wanted to know more about Lawrence Batley Theatre? Wondered just what exactly this big old building used to be and how it came to be the theatre it is now? Well then, come along to our Halloween Backstage Tour (Sun 30 Oct) and hear some of our ghost stories on this spooktacular themed tour of the theatre, get to peek backstage and be trick ’n’ treated to a Halloween themed tea.

Created by Nancy Penvose, part of Lawrence Batley Theatre team, this show is great entertainment for all the family, featuring puppets, upbeat songs and plenty of laughs.
