  • Jesus, Jane, Mother & Me

Jesus, Jane, Mother & Me is a twisted coming-of-age story blending pitch black humour, heartache and Jane McDonald that explores family dynamics, who our idols are and just how hard life can be when you’re a little bit different.

  • 'Arts at the Arms', featuring the text 'THEATRE · POETRY · MUSIC' and 'ARTS AT THE ARMS' overlaid on photos of two performers—one speaking into a microphone and the other playing guitar and singing. A stylised speech bubble with a pencil icon is shown at the top

    Arts at the Arms

Arts at the Arms brings its trademark mix of theatre, comedy, poetry and music to Lawrence Batley Theatre – all created and performed by talented artists from right here in Kirklees. Expect laughs, heart, and a night full of entertainment!

  • A person in a bob wig and full makeup wearing a mechanic's jumpsuit poses in a cluttered garage, holding a wrench over an open car engine. The scene combines traditional workshop tools with theatrical flair, suggesting a humorous or performative setup.

    Fixing

Can something broken ever truly be mended? Fixing is an outrageous, touching, laugh out loud and heartfelt show about family, learning car maintenance and choosing the right shade of lipstick to do it in.
