Masterclass is an informal programme of workshops, designed to allow you to try out a variety of creative careers and skills with high-level professionals in the field. Whether it’s for career exploration, a new hobby or just general interest, all aged 16+ are welcome to come along.

Rose Condo is an award-winning Canadian poet who has been writing, performing and teaching for over 20 years. Her project The Empathy Experiment was shortlisted for Best Spoken Word Show at the 2020 Saboteur Awards and won Best Spoken Word Show at the 2019 Greater Manchester Fringe Festival. She is a celebrated spoken word artist and poet winning poetry slams such as Manchester’s Word War One, Newcastle’s SLAMalgamate and the Say Owt Clash in York.
