Drawing for Beginners (and Improvers) is a great introduction to the joys of drawing.
In each workshop, Barbara will gently guide you to develop your confidence, using different materials and approaches where you will also explore different techniques that look at creating movement and flow.
No previous experience needed - includes 3D drawing, perspective and so much more, all using inspiration from our fabulous building.
Suitable for anyone including families with children. Running as a four week course or individual sessions, each workshop will cover different skills and techniques.

About Barbara Hellowell
Barbara Hellowell is a Resident Artist at Lawrence Batley Theatre.
Barbara works with dynamic shapes and lines to suggest movement in an aim to illustrate the interaction of a moving object with the space that surrounds it. Her inspirations are the natural world and human interactivity.
Barbara’s work is the product of her imagination which complements the varied scope of the theatre.
