Scottish Dance Theatre

Performing two brand new works - NQR and The Life and Times of Girl A - Scottish Dance Theatre, Scotland's national contemporary dance company, returns to the LBT with a celebration of what it is to be alive in the world today.
NQR stands for ‘Not Quite Right’, terminology frequently used in medical records up until 1988 to describe unexplained difference.
Choreographed by SDT’s Janet Smith, Caroline Bowditch and Marc Brew this performance is an exploration of oddity and a world turned upside down - from the odd to the outrageous and the just plain stupid.
In The Life and Times of Girl A, a woman is trying to tell us something important about what is happening right now. What she needs is a film crew and a financier; what she's got is a stage and some dancers. This is the latest piece to be choreographed by Ben Duke of Lost Dog.
