Frequently asked questions:
This sounds too good to be true, is there a catch?
There’s no catch! This really is a genuine offer - we’ll need you to book in a specific way and give us your details, but it’s really simple to start enjoying exciting, fun and live theatre for free.
Can I bring friends with me?
One of the best things about seeing something live is talking to your mates about it afterwards so of course you can bring friends with you.For each performance you can book an extra 5 tickets for your mates to come along as long as they are under 26 also. Each person will be asked for ID when they arrive - so make sure they have it! Anyone over 26 can also come along but they will have to pay the applicable advertised price. We also recommend that - if your mates like what they see - they sign up for the scheme so they also get to know what’s going on and are able to take advantage of exclusive member-only offers.
When can I collect my tickets?
If you have booked in advance, your tickets will be available for collection from the box office up to half an hour before the show starts. That means if the show is due to start at 7.30pm you must have collected your tickets by 7pm. Any uncollected tickets may be sold to people needing seats on the night. You might be asked for proof of age ID when collecting tickets and before going in to watch the show - make sure you have it with you!
Can I book on the night?
If seats are still available you can book on the night. However, we strongly advise you contact the Box Office in advance to check availability and reserve your tickets. The amount of seats available under this scheme varies from performance to performance so the allocation can sometimes get full very quickly.
What shows can I see?
The scheme applies to Professional Theatre at the LBT. This means that we cannot give free tickets on Comedy, Music, Film or amateur productions. However, a good number of performances do qualify so there will be something for everyone! You can see any professional performances in our Imagine, Performance, In Motion or Opera series. For details of which shows are available visit our A Night Less Ordinary What’s On page
