The Mikado

Generally regarded as the most popular of the Savoy Operettas, The Mikado contains many of Sullivan’s most charming and recognisable tunes - A Wandering Minstrel, Three Little Maids From School, Tit Willow - which perfectly complement Gilbert’s wittily absurd Japanese-themed story of forbidden love.
For those unfamiliar with Gilbert and Sullivan this is the opportunity to see the Huddersfield Gilbert and Sullivan Society present English light opera at its best. For those who have seen it before this lively and traditional production will allow you to confirm it is still as entertaining as you always thought it was.
