Stewards and Exhibition Volunteers

We are always looking for volunteers to help with our Exhibitions programme and front of house work.  Have you got time to spare to help us with our various activities?

If so, please get in touch with our Senior Duty Manager, David Halloran, on 01484 484415 or email

We really like providing young people with the experience of working in the theatre.  We offer places to members of the LBT Youth Theatre or pupils at our partnership schools.  As a result of high demand, we are unable to offer any other places.

Brochure Champions

Do you want to help promote the Lawrence Batley Theatre whilst getting free tickets for some of our shows?

The LBT is looking for brochure champions to distribute our season brochures around the Holme Valley and Colne Valley area.

Ideally, you’ll be passionate about theatre and live performance (although you don’t have to be an expert), outgoing, approachable and able to work in Kirklees and the wider area.

Being a brochure champion won’t take up a great deal of time. All we ask is that you are able to distribute some brochures for us to local shops/cafes etc. a couple of times a year. And to say thank you, we’ll give you a couple of free tickets to shows of your choice at the LBT.
