Pippa says

"I am a paper cutting artist.

I first started papercutting in 2010, whilst studying for my Masters. It was the first time I felt that a medium was truly right for me, and I have continued down this path ever since.

My paper cut works are first drawn out by hand on the reverse of the paper, and then hand cut using a scalpel, and can take hours to complete. The process is just as important to me as the finished product and the subject matter can vary.

I also illustrate, where designs are drawn by hand and then manipulated digitally. For these, I work under the name Bear Follows Cat.  I completed my Degree in Contemporary Art Practice at Leeds Metropolitan University in 2006, and then completed my MA in Art and Design and Curation which I completed in 2011."
