A Musical Comedy, BELOW STAIRS tells the story of Lucy Ambleside, a bright and intelligent ladies' maid in a large London home in 1914.

Wanting to better herself, and with ideas above her station, Lucy uses her talent for mimicry to appear as an American heiress. There she meets the Honourable Edward Waterflower, an apparent gentleman, but all is not as it seems...

Set in Edwardian London at the outbreak of World War I, the production is backed by a varied melodic score of tuneful songs with witty lines and good humour throughout. The production also features one of the most comical female leading roles since Eliza in My Fair Lady.
